Customer Account Extension
Display membership status, credit balances, wallet pass download, and tier benefits on the customer's Shopify account page.
The Customer Account Extension embeds a branded membership block on your customer's Shopify account page. It shows their tier status, available and pending credit, a QR code to download their wallet pass, and a summary of their tier benefits — all without requiring a separate portal or login.
What Customers See
The extension renders several sections on the customer's account page:
Membership Card
The top section displays:
- Program Name: Tier Name — The membership and current tier (e.g., "The Oak Society: The Cellar")
- Balance — Available store credit (e.g., "$58.25")
- Pending Balance — Credit earned but not yet available due to reward delay (e.g., "$25.20")
- Download Wallet Pass — QR code that the customer can scan to install their Apple or Google Wallet pass
Personal Data
Below the membership card:
- Birthday — Date field with "Edit" link (used for birthday rewards via Shopify Flow)
- Anniversary — Date field with "Edit" link
- Qualified Spend — The customer's total qualifying spend toward tier advancement
Tier Benefits Card
A branded card showing:
- Tier name and visual branding
- Spend progress toward the current tier
- A list of tier-specific benefits (e.g., complimentary shipping, early access, priority pricing)
- A Learn More button linking to program information
Setup
Open Theme Customizer
Go to Online Store → Themes in Shopify Admin and click Customize on your active theme.
Add the block
In the left sidebar, click Add block, search for "Angle Customer Account Extension", and click to add it.
Position and save
Drag the block to your preferred position on the page. Click Save.
The block fits into Shopify's standard customer account page layout alongside other blocks like contact info, addresses, and payment methods.

Why It Matters
Visibility drives redemption. When customers see their credit balance every time they log into their account, they're more likely to return and make a purchase to use it. The extension also reduces support tickets ("How much credit do I have?" or "What tier am I in?") and drives wallet pass adoption through the prominent download QR code.
The benefits card reinforces the value of the program and, for customers not yet at the highest tier, creates aspirational motivation to spend more.
Best Practices
- Position the Angle block prominently — Place it near the top of the customer account page so it's one of the first things customers see when logging in
- Keep tier benefits up to date — The benefits displayed in the extension should match what's communicated in your marketing
- Test with a real enrolled customer who has available credit to verify the full experience (balance display, pending balance, wallet pass download) before going live
